Our library provides free services to all residents living within Salem and Overisel Townships and all Lakeland Library Systems card holders with services available to all others for a fee.

The library system holds over 425,615 materials including over 394,000 books, and 28,000 CDs and DVDs.

Over 3 million items are checked out of the system annually! In addition to these items, thousands of people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the Library’s computers, enjoy the free Wi-fi service, or participate in the numerous activities we have going on.

Salem Township Library's goal is to bring people and resources together. We strive to provide information in all subject areas, whether through our materials or those loaned from other sources.
